On July 11th and 12th, the kick-off meeting of ATTENTION! took place. ATTENTION! will develop and apply artificial intelligence models based on multiple global data sources, including trade, corporate and web data, to identify and detect illicit trade activities and their patterns in global, heterogeneous data.
On the first day of the kickoff meeting, all members of the project consortium – consisting of RisikoTek, L3S, Hase & Igel, Schaeffler and the University of Bonn – met in person for the first time and used the opportunity to concretely plan the first steps in the new project. On the following day, the project plans were presented to Christoph Pflock from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and Dennis Lee from Enterprise Singapore, among others, and discussed in the subsequent debate.
The ATTENTION! project consortium is looking forward to the future cooperation and is eager to see the first results soon!
